Tips When Sending Parcels

PACKAGING

  • Choose the Right Packaging: Use sturdy boxes or padded envelopes that are appropriate for the size and weight of the item.
  • Secure Fragile Items: Use bubble wrap, foam, or packing peanuts to protect fragile items. Label the package as "Fragile" if needed.
  • Seal the Package Properly: Use strong tape to secure all openings to prevent accidental openings during transit.
  • Avoid Overpacking: Ensure the parcel is tightly packed to prevent movement but not overpacked to risk bursting.

LABELLING

  • Use Clear Labels: Write the recipient's name, address, and contact information clearly. Double-check for accuracy.
  • Include a Return Address: This ensures the package can be sent back if delivery fails.
  • Use Waterproof Labels: Protect labels with clear tape to prevent smudging in case of rain or spills.

  • Attach Necessary Documents: For international shipments, include invoices, customs forms, and any other required documentation.
  • Keep a Copy: Retain a copy of stamped Customer Service Request form.

  • Consider Cutoff Times: Be aware of the courier’s pickup and delivery schedules.

Prohibited items

  • Check Restrictions: Ensure the item you're sending is not on the prohibited or restricted items list for the destination.
  • Comply with Regulations: For international shipments, verify country-specific import/export rules.

PAYMENT & RECEIPTS

  • Confirm Costs: Clarify all costs, including surcharges for weight, size, or delivery location.
  • Keep Receipts: Hold onto receipts and proof of payment until the parcel is successfully delivered.

ADDRESS SPECIFIC CONCERNS
